Our Story

Humble beginnings for Dynamic Supply Chain Solutions LLC & DSCS LLC. In 2010, with a large amount of ambition and hutzpah to change the face of transportation, founder Jeff Loy signed an agency agreement with Premier Expediters Inc. At that time, it only covered Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. Dynamic Supply Chain Solutions brought a technology twist to the entire region. It’s unique from all of the competition.

The evolution of this massive product moving environment continued in 2018 when Loy purchased Tritsch Expedited Services and merged the company into DSCS LLC. As a result, now it offers complete transportation solutions across the United States and internationally.

Then in 2020, among a global pandemic with Covid-19, Loy realized a need for pallet removal for many customers. Right away, DSCS started offering pallet removal and sales. Over the course of the year the customer’s needs grew. In 2021 Loy performed a major company structure overhaul. Now there are 4 divisions of Dynamic Companies offering services and sales for total material movement.

Our Team

Jeff Loy

Owner & Operator

For more than 2 decades, Jeff’s work ambition found roots in all things logistics… Imports, Exports, LTL, FTL, Air Freight, Ground Expedites and Warehousing. His depth of experience and camaraderie works effectively inside the walls of his office, with his team, and outside the walls with his clients and contractors.
Jeff believes his community matters. He’s an active member of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and various local community organizations such as Addiction Services Council, Master Provisions and TenFe.

He is a lucky man to be married to Sarah Loy and is a proud father to a grown son, Braedan and daughter, Emma. Email Jeff here.

Jay Umbarger

Fulfillment & Business Development Mgr.

Jay’s foray into the word of freight started in Northern Kentucky in 2013. Never afraid to take on more responsibility or face new challenges, Jay quickly learned each facet of transportation. Managing the Bed, Bath, and Beyond account at a local 3PL helped develop his skills around efficient production processes, inventory control, HR, project planning and more. Later in his career, as Director of Operations with an East Coast based freight processing firm, he started rescuing major retail accounts who were about to bail; he brought in his own management team to process the freight at their distribution and shipping centers. After securing contracts with retail outfits such as Marmaxx (TJ Maxx & Marshalls group), Wayfair, Home Goods, and Burlington, among others. In 2018 Jay expanded his horizon once again joined the DSCS team as an Operations Agent and Business Development Specialist.

Chuck Loy

IT Development

Chuck has over 35 years in the I/T industry supporting global manufacturing environment for a division of a Fortune 500 division company. Chuck has always been on the leading front of integrating business needs with sound I/T solutions. Chuck was the I/T Director leading the team that created the industrial industries first fully integrated e-commerce site into sales support, manufacturing, engineering, shipment tracking, paperless shop floor integrated into a system nicknamed “taco”. Currently he is supporting I/T for DSCS and is also in charge of scheduling / dispatch. Originally from the west coast Chuck attended Cal State LB and UCLA now residing in beautiful Northern Kentucky.

Jennifer Pikal

Business Development Manager

With almost 20 years of experience in the logistics & freight forwarding industry, Jennifer joined the PEI Cincinnati team in 2012 bringing with her partnerships with some of the top manufacturing corporations in the tristate area and leading aerospace & automotive companies in the world.

Her enthusiasm and knowledgeable focus towards a client’s business & needs, exceptional follow-up skills, and attention to detail, allow her & the Cincinnati ops team to create solutions for all aspects of her clients’ supply chain.
When she’s not out promoting PEI, Jennifer, her husband and 2 children truly enjoy living life together. They are active in multiple sports, volunteer programs as well as chairing fundraising events for their school and PTO. They participate yearly in The Flying Pig Marathon and Jennifer just completed her first 10k in the 2018.

Derek Dant

Pallet Operations Manager

With over 10 years in operations and customer service Derek is THE pallet expert. When he transferred from hospitality to the pallet industry he hit the ground running. Derek manages the day to day operations -pallet building and inventory- as well as building new relationships with established and new customers. Derek looks forward to continuing to build this growing division of Dynamic Companies. On a side note, Derek has a the most beautiful toddler, Lucas, and a very loving wife, Hayley.

Linda Prather

HR Manager & Customer Service

 

As a native of Northern Kentucky, Linda Prather brings over a decade of customer service experience to the DSCS team. She places importance on providing excellent customer service. Linda worked as customer service rep and administrative assistant for 10 years at Citibank. Ultimately she chose to She to stay home with her 4 children. Eventually, when the kids got older she went to work at a staffing agency as an On-site Supervisor for a Fortune 500 company. She’s won multiple career awards including Staffing Employee of the Year in 2017.

Her interests are boating, sporting events and spending time with her family!

Doug

Head of Security aka "The Enforcer"

As a rescue dog, at the age of 2 1/2 months, Doug wasted no time in becoming an office fixture. The team’s high hopes were fulfilled when she filled the role as head of office security, but her methods have left something to be desired. She greets any visitor at the door. The extent of her screening process is simply waiting for them to give her a milk bone from the box on the front desk. When asked about her unconventional security check procedure during her last performance review Doug just yawned, trotted over to her bed and laid down.
Outside of work Doug’s hobbies include playing fetch and chewing on pinecones. She loves treats of all kinds but doggie ice cream is her favorite by far. On the weekend she loves when her dad stops at the Graeter’s drive-through for coffee on the way to go to their morning hike because she knows the nice employees will have a little bone for her too.
